More Letters from Listeners...
Tom Bridgens- I enjoy the praise music and how it draws my heart toward God everyday! God speaks to me through the morning lineup of Joyce Meyer, Andrew Wommack and David Joe May’s instruction. I also enjoy the Soul Diner. It convicts me to live a life worthy of Jesus!
Becky Drummond in Centerville- I listen to “The Praise” on the way to the kids school and to work EVERY morning in the car, also on the way home in the evenings. I love the wonderful, uplifting songs, it helps get me and the kids ready to face a new day, with JESUS! Stephanie Smith in Miamisburg- I listen on my way to and from work. I listen because I love Christ and your radio station lifts him up, lifts me up!
Deborah L Ross in Dayton- I listen in my car. I like the contemporary music and programs like Joyce Meyer. I also listen at work (Dayton Heart Hospital). I work from 7pm to 7am and it’s refreshing to be able to bring Christian values into the work place. Thank You! You do a wonderful job, keep up the good work.
LaPaula Fyffe in Troy- I listen to Praise 89.5 on my way to work in the ER. It helps me to become centered and relaxed before a hectic shift.
MarQuita Lyneet Roddy in Dayton- I listen to Praise 89.5 at work and since I work 12 hour shifts, I usually listen off and on between the hours of 6 p.m. - 6 a.m. I listen to the Praise and Worship station because the music is so soothing and God is so good. I allow the Holy Spirit to have His way with me and I can be found dancing on the job. One day one of the truckers announced over the cb that it looked like I was having a party and I responded " Yep, a Holy Ghost Party" and I kept right on dancing cause God gives me joy and the world can't take it away. I have specialized license plates that read "KALL GOD" because someone used the letter C so I had to be creative and use the letter K, but that's ok because I don't mind people knowing whom I CALL or KALL upon in my time of need. I really enjoy 89.5 because I get to meditate and reflect on God's goodness, so if you'll keep playing the songs, I'll keep dancin to them and we can praise Him together.
Patricia Kirkland in Dayton- I listen to Praise 89.5 mostly when I am in the car on the way to and from work, and while I am at work. It occurs to me that although I love Praise and worship music and could listen to it 24/7, those two places are the places that I need God's grace the most! It is hard to get too angry when you are praising our Savior! God bless!
Kendra Young in Dayton- I am a High School student at public high school being in an environment where Christ is not present I struggle to show Christ in my school but every morning I turn on Praise 89.5 to get me going. It gives me the opportunity not only to worship God but gets me ready to face non-Christian teens, that if they can see a little Christ in me and maybe they may think the big guy up stairs is not so bad. I also listen when getting ready for a Basketball game, and doing my homework because I know all this would not be possible if it were not for him! So turning on the station during those times keeps me focused on what God does for me on a daily basis.
Eric C. Lovely in Vandalia- I usually listen to Praise89.5 when I am in my Truck and at school. I attend Miami Valley Career Technology Center for Marketing and Media and I am on the computer a lot. I usually plug in around 8:30am and stop in the early afternoon. The main reason I listen is to keep myself focused on God. I am the praise and worship leader at my church, and sometimes it can be easy to forget why we sing the songs, but Praise 89.5 helps keep me in a prayerful mood and in complete reverence. THANK YOU 89.5!!!!
Brad Wagner in Franklin- I listen to the Praise at work (until 9:15 am and after 4:30 pm), in my car and sometimes at home. Why? Because, I love the upbeat Christian Rock and the extra bonus of having a local station that supports and gets involved locally.
Sue Lincoln in Kettering- I like the music and I really enjoy the internet streaming so I can now listen at work!
Margaret Long in Trotwood- I love the music and the warmth of the Praise 89.5 family.
Hannah Howard in Beavercreek- It’s a positive, clean alternative to other music stations out there.
